Her parent; brothers: Cornlius Larney and John Ahaisse; sister, Betty Warledo, preceded her in death. Graveside services for longtime Konawa area resident Glen Dale Akerman are scheduled for 11 a.m. Surviving are his parents, Billy and Judy Akerman of Konawa; grandmother, Beloysa Dobbins of Konawa; one son, Ross Alan Akerman of Konawa; one brother, Allan Ray Akerman of Konawa; one sister, Sherry Annette Jesse of Konawa; one grandson, Lance William Akerman of Konawa; and a host of other family and friends.
Wednesday at Sacred Heart Cemetery, west of Konawa, with Father Matthew Brown, O. Casket bearers will be: Brandon Stoup, Brian Brooks, Rick Pemberton, Maek Reeves, Robert Castleberry, and Jacob Akerman.
She was born April 6, 1931 in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio to Stanley and Ruth (Thayer) Stephenson.
Wilma "Jean" Adams, passed away peacefully March 22, 2008 in Midwest City.
Jean will be remembered as a fun loving aunt and friend to many, especially her nieces and nephews, including Kim Cash of Oklahoma City, who cared for her during her last years; Hugh Cash of Stuart Fla., and Judith Cross of Ft Worth Texas.
Jeans love for travel kept her active before and after her retirement. Funeral services for Seminole resident Opal Ahaisse are scheduled for 2 p.m. Services are under the direction of Stout-Phillips Funeral Home, Wewoka. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, Konawa. "Billy" Akerman and Judith "Judy" (Dobbins) Akerman.
She is survived by her husband, Leroy, of the Home; five sons, Roy (Bunny) Yargee, T. Yargee, Squeege Yargee, Ledon Alexander, and Leroy Alexander Jr.; daughter, La Doria Williams; grandchildren; and sister, Barbara Wolfe. Interment will follow at Little Cemetery under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, Seminole. His mother, Beulah Muriel Rose; father, Archie Abbott; sister, Sharon Kay Ledbetter; one grandson, Kenneth Eugene Colvin; and grandparents, Mattie and George Allen, preceded him in death.
He is survived by five daughters and sons-in-law: Rhonda and Daryl Odom of the home, Wanda and Gilbert Ross of Seminole, Julie Gamble and David Yockey of Tecumseh, Victoria Allen of Ada, and Tiffany Allen of Purcell; three sons and daughter-in-law: George and Miranda Allen of Oklahoma, Clinton Allen of Oklahoma and Shane Allen of Purcell; one brother, Rickey Rose of Louisiana; and sister, Bobbie Jerrnigan of Enid. Almon went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 18,2008, surrounded by his family that loved him dearly.
